Yunnan possesses magnificent snow mountains and glaciers in the north, vast tropical rainforests and rare animals and plants in the south, marvelous spectacle "Three Parallel Rivers" in the west and spectacular and magic karst landform in the east. Yunnan has been known as the "Kingdom of Plants", "Kingdom of Animals", "Home of Spices", "Natural Garden" and "Treasury-house of Medical Herbs". In Yunnan, tropical, subtropical, temperate and polar plant communities are distributed. There are mountains and rivers such as Gaoligong Mountains, Nujiang River, Yunling Mountains, Biluo Snow Mountain and Lancang River, as well as such geological wonders as stone forests, soil forests, volcanic clusters, karst caves and geothermal springs. 25 minorities such as Dai, Dong, Yi and Hani live in the vast territory of Yunnan, and have given birth to distinctive, rich and colorful ethnic cultures and folk customs such as world-known Dongba Culture of the Naxi nationality, Pattra-leaf Culture of the Dai nationality, Solar Calendar Culture of the Yi nationality and Terraced Culture of the Hani nationality. Yunnan's Economic Performance in 2018

地区生产总值：完成地区生产总值17881.12亿元，增长8.9%，增速排全国第三位; 第一产业完成增加值2498.86亿元，同比增长6.3%，第二产业完成增加值6957.44亿元，第三产业完成增加值8424.82亿元，同比增长7.6%。

GDP: The GDP reached RMB 1788.112 billion, increasing by 8.9% and ranking third in the country; the added value of the primary industry reached RMB 249.886 billion, with year-on-year growth of 6.3%; the added value of the secondary industry reached RMB 695.744 billion; the added value of the tertiary industry reached RMB 842.482 billion, with year-on-year growth of 7.6%.

工业：规模以上工业增加值同比增长11.8%，增速高于全国5.6个百分点，增速排全国第二位。

Industry: The industry above designated size saw a year-on-year growth of 11.8% in added value. The growth rate was 5.6 percentage points higher than the national level, ranking second in the country.

农业：全省农林牧渔业增加值完成2552.78亿元，同比增长6.3%，增速排全国第二位。

Agriculture: The added value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery reached RMB 255.278 billion, with year-on-year growth of 6.3% and growth rate ranking second in the country.

旅游：全省共接待海外游客706.1万人次，接待国内旅游者6.81亿人次，实现旅游总收入8991.44亿，分别增长5.75%、20.24%和29.89%。

Tourism: Yunnan received 7.061 million overseas tourists and 681 million domestic tourists. The total tourism revenue reached RMB 899.144 billion, increasing by 5.75%, 20.24% and 29.89% respectively.

投资：固定资产投资同比增长11.6%，增速高于全国5.7个百分点，排全国第三位。第一产业增长36.8%，第二产业增长11.3%。第三产业增长10.6%。

Investment: The fixed-asset investment above designated size saw a year-on-year growth of 11.6% in added value. The growth rate was 5.7 percentage points higher than the national level, ranking third in the country. The fixed-asset investment in the primary industry, the secondary industry and the tertiary industry increased by 36.8%, 11.3% and 10.6% respectively.

财政收入：全省财政总收入3719.68亿元左右，同比增长9.7%，地方一般公共预算收入1994.31亿元，增长5.7%

Financial revenue: The total financial revenue of Yunnan reached RMB 371.968 billion approximately, with year-on-year growth of 9.7%. The local general public budget revenue reached RMB 199.431 billion, with an increase of 5.7%.

金融：全省金融机构人民币存款余额为30518.85亿元，比年初增加555亿元，同比增长1.9%。贷款余额为28042.02亿元，比年初增加2643.06亿元，同比增长10.4%。

Finance: The deposit balance of financial institutions in Yunnan was RMB 3051.885 billion, with an increase of RMB 55.5 billion compared with that at the beginning of the year and a year-on-year growth of 1.9%. The loan balance of financial institutions in Yunnan was RMB 2804.202 billion, with an increase of RMB 264.306 billion compared with that at the beginning of the year and a year-on-year growth of 10.4%.

社会消费：社会消费品零售总额6825.97亿元，同比增长11.1%，增速排全国第三位。全省城镇常住居民人均可支配收入33488元，增长8%，农村常住居民人均可支配收入10768元，增长9.2%。

Social consumption: The total retail sales of consumer goods reached RMB 682.597 billion, with year-on-year growth of 11.1% and growth rate ranking third in the country. The per capita disposable income of urban residents reached RMB 33,488, with an increase of 8%. The per capita disposable income of rural residents reached RMB 10,768, with an increase of 9.2%.

招商引资：，全省新签订实施国内合作项目2902个，引进省外到位资金10181亿元，同比增长20%，实际利用外资10.56亿美元，同比增长9.65%，省外到位资金在第一、第二、第三产业的分布比例为14∶31∶55。新引进10家世界500强企业。

Investment promotion: Contracts were signed and executed for 2902 new domestic cooperative projects. Paid-in investment of RMB 1018.1 billion was introduced from other provinces, with year-on-year growth of 20%. USD 1.056 billion of foreign investment was utilized, with year-on-year growth of 9.65%. The allocation ratio of paid-in investment from other provinces in the primary industry, the secondary industry and the tertiary industry was 14:31:55. 10 of the world's top 500 enterprises were introduced.

对外贸易：外贸进出口总额1973.02亿元，同比增长24.7%，增速排全国第五位。其中，出口847.68亿元，增长9.4%，进口1125.34亿元，增长39.3%。

Foreign trade: The total foreign trade value reached RMB 197.302 billion, with year-on-year growth of 24.7% and growth rate ranking fifth in the country. The value of export was RMB 84.768 billion, an increase of 9.4%; and the value of import was RMB 112.534billion, an increase of 39.3%.

Yunnan will thoroughly implement the guiding principles from the major policy addresses of General Secretary Xi Jinping and the speech delivered during his visit to Yunnan, seize the opportunity of implementation of multiple national major development strategies in Yunnan. Based on its advantages regarding location, resources and opening-up and the like, Yunnan will take initiatives in serving and integrating into the implementation of "Belt and Road Initiative", speed up building itself into a center driving the development of South and Southeast Asia, and promote all-round, multi-field and deep construction of open economy.

全力配合国家推动中国-中南半岛经济走廊、孟中印缅经济走廊、中缅经济走廊、中老经济走廊建设，积极参与澜沧江-湄公河合作机制建设，推动中老泰经济走廊和滇老泰合作试验区建设工作，不断完善与越北、老北、泰北等合作机制。

Yunnan will fully cooperate in promoting the construction of China-Indochina Peninsula Economic Corridor, Bangladesh-China-India-Myanmar Economic Corridor, China-Myanmar Economic Corridor and China-Laos Economic Corridor, actively participate in the construction of Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Mechanism, promote the construction of China-Laos-Thailand Economic Corridor and Yunnan-Laos-Thailand Cooperation Pilot Zone, and constantly improve the cooperation mechanism with northern Vietnam, northern Laos and northern Thailand.

持续建设开放型经济发展平台：全省各类经济合作区、重点开发开放试验区、综合保税区等开放平台功能作用不断增强，成功举办连续5届中国-南亚博览会、3届国际旅交会和1届商洽会。

Yunnan will continuously construct open economic development platforms: Yunnan has constantly enhanced the functions open platforms such as economic cooperation zones, key development and opening-up pilot zones and comprehensive bonded zones, and has successfully held China - South Asia Expo five times, China International Travel Mart three times, and South & Southeast Asia Commodity Expo & Investment Fair once.

不断提高对外开放水平：与9个国家建立了11个双边地方合作机制，设立了30个驻外商务代表处，在全国率先推行通关便利化“三证合一”模式，贸易便利化和通关一体化水平持续提升，贸易伙伴遍及206个国家和地区。对外贸易进出口总额2018年达到1973亿元；全省累计吸收外资超过100亿美元，在滇世界500强企业达到104家。

Yunnan will constantly improve the level of opening-up: Yunnan has established 11 bilateral local cooperation mechanisms with 9 countries, set up 30 commercial representative offices abroad, taken the lead in implementing "the integration of the business license, organizational code certificate and certificate of taxation registration", and continuously improved the level of trade facilitation and customs integration, with trade partners in 206 countries and regions. In 2018, the total foreign trade value reached RMB 197.3 billion; foreign investment of over USD 10 billion was introduced in total; the number of the world's top 500 enterprises settled in Yunnan reached 104.

不断完善金融体系、发展金融市场、深化对外金融合作。2018年末全省跨境人民币累计结算额4459.77亿元。云南在全国首批试点个人经常项下跨境人民币业务，全省19家企业从境外借入人民币贷款，9家跨国集团企业搭建跨境人民币资金池。

Yunnan will constantly improve the financial system, develop financial market and deepen foreign financial cooperation. In 2018, the accumulated cross-border settlement amount of Yunnan reached RMB 445.977 billion. Listed among the first batch of pilot provinces, Yunnan has carried out cross-border RMB business under personal current account. 19 enterprises in Yunnan have obtained RMB loan overseas, and 9 transnational groups/enterprises have set up cross-border RMB cash pool.

2019年成立了“数字云南”建设工作领导小组，并设立数字经济局，建设云南数字经济研究院。未来云南将科学构建数字经济体系，推动资源数字化、数字产业化、产业数字化，建设面向南亚东南亚辐射中心数字枢纽。

In 2019, Yunnan has established the Leading Group on Constructing "Digital Yunnan", the Digital Economy Bureau and the Digital Economy Research Institute of Yunnan Province. In the future, Yunnan will construct a digital economic system scientifically, promote resource digitalization, digital industrialization and industry digitization, and build itself into a digital hub of the radial center towards South Asia and Southeast Asia.

资源数字化：高质量建成全省人口、法人、宏观经济、自然资源、电子证照五大数据库，加快建设生态环境、市场监管、综合交通物流、公共安全大数据平台。

Resource digitalization: It is to construct five major high-quality databases, including population database, legal person information database, macroeconomic information database, natural resource information database and electronic certificate database, and accelerate the construction of big data platforms concerning ecological environment, market regulation, comprehensive transportation and logistics, and public security.

数字产业化：支持鼓励各行各业和个人上云、用云，深化大数据和云计算的应用。提升电子信息、通信与网络等基础产业，做强云计算、大数据、物联网、人工智能等新兴产业，重点以区块链技术应用为突破口，把云南打造成为区块链技术应用高地。

Digital industrialization: It is to support and encourage cloud application in various industries and daily life of people, deepen the application of big data and cloud computing, improve basic industries such as electronic information, communication and network industries, make cloud computing, big data, Internet of things, artificial intelligence industries and other emerging industries stronger, take the blockchain technology application as a breakthrough, and forge Yunnan into a highland for blockchain technology application.

产业数字化：“三张牌”和数字经济全面融合发展，探索数字化综合解决方案，打造产业发展的数字引擎。

Industry digitization: It is to integrate the "Three Brands" with data digital economy comprehensively, seek comprehensive solution to digitization, and forge "digital engine" for industrial development.

引进国内外一流企业，推进在跨境贸易、数字医疗、数字小镇试点示范。加快发展面向南亚东南亚的跨境电子商务和数字金融产业，逐渐形成一个面向南亚东南亚的数据交易中心，建设面向南亚东南亚的数字经济产业聚集区。

Yunnan will introduce first-class enterprises at home and abroad, promote pilot demonstration in cross-border trade, digital medical treatment, and digital towns, accelerate the development of cross-border e-commerce and digital finance industry, gradually form a data exchange center, and construct an industrial cluster of digital economy towards South Asia and Southeast Asia.

“一部手机”系列已成为“数字云南”的知名品牌。其中，“一部手机游云南”已经成为智慧旅游标杆，“一部手机办事通”推动了政务服务“掌上办”和“指尖办”，而“一部手机云品荟”，实现了云南特色商品“一站购买”和“诚信服务”。

The following series have become famous brands of "Digital Yunnan". "Traveling Yunnan with One Phone" has become a benchmark of smart tourism. "Handling Affairs with One Phone" has promoted mobile handling of government affairs service by clicking with fingertips. "Buying Featured Commodities of Yunnan with One Phone" has realized one-stop purchasing and integrity service.

“数字云南”三年行动计划，将聚焦公共云、高速宽带、智慧旅游、智慧城市、智慧政务、智慧教育、数字医疗、数字农业、智能制造、智慧能源、数字交通等，全力推动“数字云南”建设迈上新台阶。
